So I should being doing some homework for my finals tomorrow morning... But I was just talkin to Haley, and we were discussing sad things... And she told me how sad it is to go and look at old Live Journal posts.... Man, it was really really sad... I seriously almost started crying... For anyone who knows me, i dont really cry often... It was intense... It is just weird, to go and look back and see how different things were back... It is werid to think about what if i would have done "This" differently, or "That", how would my life be changed... But to sit and think about stuff like that only makes life worse... I am very happy with where my life is and where its going... However, in a way it seemed like everyone was a little happier then... I dont know... In a year, i will look back on today, and think I was happier back then... Right now life is frustrating me... I cant explain it well, but things make me mad... I am not sure if I should even be mad about them, they are out of my control and dont really have anything directing involving me, but it frustrates me... Life is really weird, i wish that I could understand it better... That must be something that comes with age, figuring things out... Right now i feel like I have not figured anything out... The only thing that I know for sure is that tomorrow things will be different... I dont know, i am rambling... I hate that...
Anyways... If anyone wants to listen to an amazing band... Please go and check out Murder By Death... I am sooo obsessed... I cant stop listening...

Hmmmmm.... So here I go.... So it seems like some people have major issues with This Providence... So I am gonna pull random quotes from random people's live journals, and say what I think about it, okay...

I completly agree with this... Back in the day, going to their shows was amazing... No many people came, but the ones that were there knew the words to every single song, and it was a great time... I know that my views on the world are much different then a lot, me being a stong Republician, but we were able to have a good time and enjoy great music...

Gavin is a very sarcastic man... Seriously, I am sure that he was joking about the entire thing... Chill out, and take a joke... Is it really that big of a deal... No, not really...

Ya, that is me and my friends... I love this band more then you will ever know, i promise... I have been a HUGE fan for almost 2 years now... We love to get excited and go crazy during the shows... People have to realize that these are rock shows... People do get crazy in the "Mosh Pit".... I promise that we never try and hurt people, that is never my intention... Actually if people were to watch us, we are very considerate, and try to protect peopel...
"AND for the fucking record,they're not that hot, I mean the Roundabout boys are hotter, i mean they suck too musically, but they are hotter!"
Well, it is good to know that this person really cares about the looks of the band... It is their opinion of who is hotter, that is fine... But i can promise that they are very very good musicians... I know that for a fact...
"Ground Zero. The show sold out. Ground Zero holds 113 people, and there was definitely more than that."
So i guess that the complaint here is that they are playing too small of venues... Well, i dont know... BUt the real problem would be the people running the Ground Zero... You can not blame TP for GZ letting in too many people.... New Found Glory, in April is coming to the Showbox... I promise that that venue is too small for them... But there is something great about seeinga band you love at a smaller venue, its fun... I like seeing TP at smaller venues, for me, it brings back the old days... but it is not their fault too many people got in...
" What upset me the most about that show, was when Dan asked everyone in the crowd if they'd like to hear Contradictions, and when everyone in the crowd started screaming for it, he flat out said "too bad"
Well, Contradictions is the song that first made me fall in love with TP.... I mean Phil's voice on that track is unbeiliable, it is almost pefect... But I have had many and many talks with the band about this song and why they dont play it anymore... What it comes down to is, it is their music, let them play what they want to play... If they do not feel that a song represents who they are now, and they dont want to play it, that is their choice... I want to hear taht song more then anything, I was actually thinkin about that song ealier today, before I even read any of these posts... But for reals, it is one song.... I know that Forgive Durden no longer plays one of my favorite songs live anymore for the same reason, they dont feel is represents who they are now... So songs they dont want to play anymore... They dont like the songs off of The Sunday Best EP... Thats fine... Our WOrlds Divorce is a much better album with much better music... They let play their best songs...

I can promise you that this band loves it fans... They ALL realize that with out their original, loyal fans, they would be nothing today... and without their new fans they would be nothing...

It is a joke... We all need to learn to take jokes at times...

I do not believe that the part that they took out made the song worse... Actually, I think that it made it a lot better... The beginning of the song is now A LOT better... Also, the part towards the end where Phil sings that they look out definitly makes the song better... The old version, that part slowed the song down too much...

Well, they do play a lot of shows with DLD... They are good friends, they enjoy playing shows together... Most people who are fans of TP are also fans of DLD, and vise versa.... It only makes sense to play with them.... In the past like 7 months, about, they have played 3 shows with Gatsbys... I mean come on, that is on average, one every other month... Lets get for real, that is not much.... Honestly...

I can promise you that these boys are not arrogant at all... Dont judge people, go and talk to them, see what they have to say... Have a conversation.... This is what this person said, and i quote ", I honestly hate those fuckers, always have"... Give them a change, i dont know who posted this, he/she should talk to them before passing judgement...

Again, i will make a promise and say that they know they are NOT rock stars... They are big in Seattle, and GETTING big around the country, but they are not rock stars... Not to take anything away from TP or Rocketstar, but they are signed to an Indie label... They are gonna be big, but I know that they do not see themselves as Rock Stars...

I knwo that I personally have not been a show in a while... But now because of anything these guys did to me... I work and am a full time student... I dont have a lot of free time... I wish more hten anything i could go to ever show... and if i could, i would....
Well, these are my opinions on what everyone has been saying... I did not use any names, so if something you said got quoted, feel free to be mad, i dont really care... But again, THIS IS MY OPINION... This is how i feel on what people have said about one of my favorite bands....

I just got back from 100K... If you have not read Haley's LJ... 100K is a three day snowboarding trip that Zumiez sends it employes who sell over 100,000 dollars of stuff in a year.... Anyways... It was AMAZING... The best time of my life... I got to met some awesome people, and famous people too... I will try and post some pics...

So Kt and I just went to Ticket Master to buy tickets for the Jimmy Eat World in Vancouver tomorrow night... But the show was sold out... I guess that is what we get for waiting until the day before the show... I am sad, i really really wanted to... It was only 18 dollars, how sad am I... SOOOO SAD...
Well I have two finals done and three more to go... Gosh, that is sooo horrbile to say, three more to go... AHHHH.... But come Friday afternoon I will be done and then home to Everett for Winter break... I am very excited...

So Kt, Jeff and I drove up to Canada tonight to go and see Finding Neverland.... I have to admit that I think I could possibly be in love with Johnny Depp... He is seriously so aweomse, he has made so many amazing movies.... Anyways, about the movie... Everyone should go and see it... It is very chill and kinda slow, but the acting and the movie itself is amazing... I have to be honest, I am not gonna lie... I shed a few tears, partly because of the movie and partly becaue of other things.... But please go and see it, worth the money....
I hope everyone has fun at the TP show, i wish i could go... Stupid college and finals.... Wish me luck...

So this is my first entry in I have no idea how long.... So, i write this in pure desperation... I have gone to far... This is sooo sad, i tell you now.... BEWARE....
So Kt bought the OC yesterday, and she came over and her Dustin and I started to watch some of the episodes at 11 oclock last night... They left after about 2 hours of watching... Well, then there is me... Kt left the DVDs here, and I just finished watching it... It is now 8 in the morning, and after 14 episodes, and 9 hours, i am done with about half of it... I can not beleive it, i think i have a problem with this show.... What is wrong with me...
Well, now that i got that out, I am goign ot take a shower, go to class, and then come back and sleep.... I am such a loser...

I do not think i could be anymore excited for Bush to win the election.... Honestly, i know that all the Kerry voters know it in the back of their head that kerry is going to lose... I cant wait, and then you have to sit through ANOTHER 4 years.... Those will be the best 4 years ever...
